Reach Foundation

The Reach Foundation supports Prince Edward Island youth who are recovering from addiction and mental health issues. Its mission is to support youth while transitioning through recovery to reintegration into the community, empowering them to seek and maintain employment or continue their education on PEI and beyond.

Social Enterprise Streams

The Reach Foundation provides supervised, hands-on work experience opportunities to support skill development for youth, offering them transferable work and life skills as they transition to community-based placements or future educational opportunities. Through this Reach program, youth gain valuable experience in bike maintenance, soap making and gardening. In addition, the youth also learn practical soft skills, including working with others, communication and problem solving and working in the social enterprise to boost youth’s confidence and self-esteem.

The youth love the process of taking something from nothing and making it into a high-quality product. People outside the organization love it too! Reach Products sell in various retail locations across PEI and available online through Yaundr.

Stop and smell the…soap!

Beyond stopping to smell the roses, we take a moment of appreciation and breathe in the sweet smell of our aromatic soap! It reminds us there is good in the world.

Like Yaundr’s mission to make the world a better place, at Reach, we actively try to spread goodness through our high-quality products that add beauty and style to people’s lives. These products are made with love and care by youth who’ve struggled with mental health and addictions, but through our many programs like soap making and woodworking, they can now see recovery within their REACH.

The Reach Foundation is a registered charity (charity registration number 846820371 RR 0001) located at 223 Mason Road in Stratford.
